Report
DUSCC copped a heavy defeat in the game against Forthill XI, who looked to have some extremely promising young players. DUSCC batted first and lost early wickets, but a good partnership of 49 between Steve Boarder (37) and Tristan Allen (30) helped DUSCC reach a reasonable total of 124-6. It was soon put into perspective though by excellent strokeplay from the Forthill top order, to which the DUSCC bowlers had little answer. Forthill raced along at close to 10 runs per over, and although Dave Chadee bowled an excellent economical spell of 4-0-16-1 later in the innings to slow the momentum a little, Forthill XI still achieved the win with plenty to spare.
