Welcome to the Dundee University Staff Cricket Club website!

DUSCC plays friendly matches, mostly 20 overs per side on Wednesday evenings, against other University staff teams and local club sides between May and August. When the weather permits… which it hasn’t very much in the last few years…

NEWS

Update (10 December 2015): Southgate Award 2015

The Southgate Award for the 2015 season has been made to Alan MacDonald. This is a long overdue award recognising Alan’s sterling efforts for the club over many seasons, particularly with the ball, and in his position as Club Treasurer which he has held for some three seasons. Congratulations to him!

Update (22 July 2015): Southgate Award 2014

The Southgate Award for the 2014 season has been made to Harshal Deshmukh, in recognition of some tremendous on-pitch contributions to the DUSCC cause over several seasons. On his upcoming move to Newcastle, we will miss his whirlwind batting, his excellent leg-spin (apparently developed on a whim when a club side he played for had a surplus of medium pacers), his penchant for wearing keepers’ pads when batting and his wearing of track suit bottoms instead of whites, which he only sought to acquire in his last season with us. Best wishes to Harshal on his move from all at the Staff club.

Update (9 July 2015): Mallion Memorial Game 2015

The 2015 Mallion Memorial game against Norwood was played on Wednesday 8 July, and a sum of around £240 was raised for donation to Maggie’s Centre at Ninewells Hospital. This now raises to over £1000 the funds raised by the Mallion game since its inception. Sincere thanks and congratulations to all involved!
