Report
Almond Valley levelled the 7-match series at two games apiece with a heavy 9 wicket win. Their bowling attack has looked very impressive in our last couple of games and it was inroads made by all their bowlers which restricted DUSCC to a total of just 91. Blair Smith (13) and John Southalan (17) played some very impressive strokes, and while Scott Rodgers’s 22 was not his highest of the season, the six he hit over the nets at Doocot was certainly one of his biggest. Kabir Dherwani took the only Valley wicket to fall, courtesy of a very slick stumping from Scott, and there were few other opportunities created as Valley won in the 18th over.
