Alessio has been admitted as a Fellow of the Royal Society of Chemistry (FRSC).

Dr Alessio Ciulli, from the Division of Biological Chemistry and Drug Discovery, in the School of Life Sciences at the University of Dundee is now a fellow of the Royal Society of Chemistry (FRSC).

The Royal Society of Chemistry, which emerged from the Chemical Society of London in 1841, has greater than 50,000 members and is the UK’s professional body for chemical scientists, supporting and representing its members and bringing together chemical scientists from all over the world.  In recognition of outstanding contributions to chemical biology, Dr Ciulli has been invited to become a Fellow of the Royal Society of Chemistry.

Upon receiving this news Dr Ciulli said “ I am truly delighted to become a fellow of the Royal Society of Chemistry and join the ranks of many highly regarded and internationally renowned scientist, including Professors Hopkins, Gilbert, Lilley and Hunter from here in Dundee.”
