CeTPD Journal Club (previously published as Ciulli Group Journal club) Targeted Protein Degradation and other literature highlights
The CeTPD Journal Club is a PhD student-led resource which is published bimonthly and edited by the whole of the CeTPD, with 4 editors per issue.
With the Journal Club we aim to create a valuable resource for the wider scientific community to allow researchers in the field to keep up to date with TPD literature and share exciting research in chemical biology, structural biology, medicinal chemistry, and beyond, while at the same time provide an expert opinion on the field of TPD. Additionally, we provide expert insights and perspectives on the new and exciting TPD literature.
Our missions with the Journal Club are to:
- Help search for new TPD and other interesting literature on a bimonthly basis
- Provide a platform to summarize and critically appraise key publications
- Highlight TPD-related preprints to keep an eye out for
- Train on developing editing skills, proofreading, formatting
- Exercise leadership and teamwork skills
The CeTPD Journal Club is currently led and coordinated by Andreas Holmqvist and Aitana DeLaCuadra-Basté. This initiative was spearheaded by Siying Zhong in 2020, and the idea was developed by Charlotte Crowe (2020-2022). Previous editors include Yuting Cao (2023).
