Jeyan is originally from Melbourne, he completed a Bachelor of Pharmaceutical Science (Medicinal Chemistry Major) from Monash Institute of Pharmaceutical Science (MIPS) at Monash Univeristy, and then went on to an Honours year focusing on the development of photo-cleavable linkers from porous silicon nanoparticles for the selective delivery of anticancer agents under the supervision of Dr. Bo Peng and Prof. Nicolas Voelcker. He joined the Ciulli Group as a visiting PhD student for 6-months, as funded by the Australian Research Council’s Centre of Fragment Based Design (ARC CFBD – https://cfbd.org.au/) based at Monash University.
Apart from medicinal chemistry, he has a keen interest in sound design and composing music, as well as keeping fit with a bit of football and hiking.
