Iván graduated with a degree in Pharmacy from the University of Santiago de Compostela in 2023. He is currently a PhD student in the group of Prof. Eddy Sotelo, working on the development of small molecules for cancer immunotherapy. He is supported by a Xunta de Galicia fellowship (2024). As a visiting PhD student at the University of Dundee, he is expanding his expertise in targeted protein degradation, contributing to collaborative efforts in this area. Outside of the lab, he enjoys reading and running.
