Following her bachelor’s and master’s degrees at the University of Dundee, Wednesday is carrying out a BBSCR EastBio/Syngenta PhD studentship under Professor Alessio Ciulli and Dr Piers Hemsley. She is interested in translating mammalian biotechnology into agriculture, focusing on targeted protein degradation in plants, and enjoys working on both the biological and chemical sides of her project.

In her free time, Wednesday is the president of the Dundee University Weightlifting Club and enjoys playing the piano and cooking.
