Vesna, Croatian native, joined the Ciulli group in January 2019 as a Cell Biologist on the PROTAC collaboration with Bohringer Ingelheim. She got her Bsc and MSc in Molecular biology in 2014 from University of Zagreb, Croatia. She did her PhD research in Cancer biology as a part of interdisciplinary Melplex consortium, a european research programme aimed at elucidating melanoma, under supervision of Prof. Dr. Markus Rehm and Prof. Dr. Dagmar Kulms (University of Stuttgart, Germany). Her PhD project aimed at investigating potential new drug combination for treatment of melanoma and developing a computational framework for response prediciton. When she’s not sciencing, Vesna enjoys travelling, cooking and aerial sports.
