Profile

Suzanne received her undergraduate degree in Medicinal Chemistry from Trinity College Dublin, Ireland and an MRes in Drug Discovery & Development at Imperial College London where her research focused on the development of antibody drug conjugates with the natural product ellipticine. She then joined AstraZeneca for two years on their graduate programme working on a variety of oncology drug discovery projects in medicinal chemistry and computational chemistry teams. She then began her PhD research with Professor Ian Collins at the Institute of Cancer Research developing fragment-based inhibitors of Heat Shock Protein 70. Following her PhD, Suzanne joined Evotec in Oxfordshire as a Senior Scientist working on late stage drug discovery projects. Suzanne joined the AC-BI team in April 2021 as a medicinal chemist. In her spare time Suzanne enjoys travelling, reading and outdoor sports including tennis, hiking and cycling.
