Profile
She completed her undergraduate degree in Chemistry with Drug Discovery at the University of Strathclyde in 2020. During her 4th year she worked as an industrial placement student at Sosei Heptares in Cambridge where she was involved in developing small molecule drugs for a GPCR target. When she returned to Glasgow she worked in the laboratory of Professor Craig Jamieson for her final year master project and explored nitrile imine formation using photochemistry. She then moved to the University of St Andrews to do her PhD as part of the EaSI-CAT programme working with Dr Craig Johnston. Her thesis was focussed on leveraging alkylcobalt(IV) intermediates in cobalt-catalysed alkene hydrofunctionalisations. She joined the CeTPD in September 2024 working as a medicinal chemist on the AC-BI team. In her spare time she like to be outdoors (usually hiking), cook and play video games.
