Profile
Lisa completed her Master’s degree in Cancer Biology in 2017 at the University of Dundee under the supervision of Professor Adrian Saurin, and remained at Dundee to pursue a PhD. Her doctoral research focused on elucidating the mechanisms of action of CDK4/6 inhibitors, with the goal of understanding how these compounds drive tumour regression. After completing her PhD, she joined Professor Jason Sheltzer’s lab at Yale University, where she investigated the therapeutic potential and mechanisms of CDK11 inhibitors. She have since returned to Dundee to join the AC-BI team as a Cell Biologist. Outside of work, she enjoy travelling, weightlifting, and cooking.
