Hi, I am Zuzanna and I am originally from Kraków, Poland. In September, I will be entering my final year of an MChem degree in Medicinal and Biological Chemistry at the University of Edinburgh. During my degree, I had a chance to spend a year working with prof. Nenad Ban at ETH Zurich on telomerase expression and purification for structural studies. I have also completed summer projects at the Institut Laue-Langevin in Grenoble and in the Bradley group at the University of Edinburgh.
Enticed by the cutting-edge drug design research, I applied to the Ciulli group in order to broaden my experience and learn computational methods and modelling. I will be doing a summer internship (funded by the James Black Prize Vacation Scholarship Programme) focussing on using computational methods to study the behaviour of proteolysis targeting chimeras (PROTACs).
In my free time, I am a keen cinema- and concert-goer. I also love eating and frequently take my friends’ dogs for long walks.
