Profile
Past Member To and From Dates: October 2014 – September 2018
I am Wei-Wei, from Taipei, Taiwan. My MSc was obtained at the University of Edinburgh in 2011. I joined a ligand discovery project aimed at developing inhibitors for cyclophilin B. Two years ago, I joined MISSION Therapeutics, a drug discovery company in Cambridge. These precious experiences have inspired and encouraged me to pursue my interest in the fields of chemical and structural biology and drug discovery.
I join Dr. Ciulli’s group for my PhD study because of his successful experience in lead discovery and opportunities to broaden knowledge and explore new things. With his lead and support from colleagues, I am looking forward to pushing my project forward, Novel Approaches to Interrogate the Druggability of Multi-protein Complexes of Cullin RING E3 Ligases, to new milestones.
In my free time, I love travelling, playing the piano, reading books and discovering new things!
