Profile

Andre, from Indonesia, obtained his undergraduate degree in Applied Biology with Biotechnology in 2015 from the Hong Kong Polytechnic University. He then moved to Cambridge in 2016 to pursue his PhD study in Biological Chemistry at University of Cambridge under the supervision of Dr Martin Welch. His PhD study focused on characterizing and targeting enzymes involved in propionate metabolism of the opportunistic human pathogen Pseudomonas aeruginosa. He joined the Ciulli group in October 2020 as a protein scientist on the PROTAC collaboration projects with Boehringer Ingelheim. In his free time, Andre enjoys going to the gym, watching movies and playing video games.
