Past Member Current Position: Medicinal Chemist, Ono Pharmaceutical, Osaka, Japan

I graduated in Pharmaceutical Science at the University of Kitasato in Japan. Under the supervision of Prof. Hiroshi Nagase, I designed and synthesized morphine-like ligands to opioid receptors to ascertain the essential ligand structure for binding affinity. I entered Ono pharmaceutical company in April 2012. I took part in GPCR projects as a medicinal chemist. In September 2017, I joined Prof. Ciulli’s lab as a postdoctoral visiting scientist to enhance knowledge and skills of chemical biology. Outside lab, I enjoy playing drums and spending time with my family.
