Originally from Vienna, Austria, Mauritius is a student at the Dundee University, currently completing his undergraduate degree in Biomedical Sciences. As the first two years of his course were very general and covered a broad range of topics, he is now doing a summer school project in the Ciulli Laboratory in order to gain better insight into the work of a scientist and the world of drug discovery. Outside of university and all things science, Mauritius enjoys most forms of physical activity, be it at the gym or while exploring nature. It is also worth mentioning that Mauritius really likes animals, especially dogs.
