Lan received her MSc degree in Chemistry from the University of Bonn in 2018. After graduation, she started her PhD in the Gütschow group in the Department of Pharmaceutical & Medicinal Chemistry at the University of Bonn, where her research is focused on the design and synthesis of VHL-based PROTACs. At present, she joined Ciulli’s lab as a visiting PhD student to pursue her research and expand her knowledge in the PROTAC field. In her spare time, she enjoys travelling, reading, running and going out with friends.
