I am originally from a tiny island in Riau Islands Province, Indonesia. I obtained a diploma in Biomedical Sciences in Singapore and a BSc (Hons) in Molecular Biology from the University of Dundee. I am currently doing my third PhD rotational project in Ciulli Lab as part of the Wellcome Trust four-year PhD programme. My project involves investigating the effects of compounds created by the Lab in mammalian cells. In my spare time, I often swim and go for a walk. I love spending time with friends (to play the guitar, sing, and talk about our beliefs) and travel with them to other parts of Scotland whenever possible.
