Jordi is from Lleida (western part of Catalonia). He completed his Bsc in Biotechnology in Universitat de Lleida (2009) and Msc in Molecular Medicine in Cranfield University (2010). His scientific background focuses on Directed Evolution and he decided to join the group to better understand the area of protein-protein interactions in chemical biology. Jordi is currently involved in assessing the binding affinities of small chemical probes of bromodomain containing proteins within living cells. Outside the lab, Jordi is an active percussion player and enjoys practising sports, as well as spending time with his friends cracking some jokes and having a good time.
