Originally from Edinburgh, Grace has spent the last 5 years at the University of Dundee having graduated from her Batchelor’s in Neuroscience in 2021 and is currently studying for her masters. Grace completed her undergraduate science communication based thesis during the pandemic under advisement of Dr Rosamund Langston. Grace focused on the neurobiological mechanisms of major depressive disorder and worked closely with the Scottish Huntington’s Association where she created a workshop to be used by volunteers to educate young people about the links between physical and mental health. As part of her masters, Grace is completing a biobusiness based thesis which will assess the current degron market and commercialisation opportunities for the novel BromoTag technology. In her spare time Grace enjoys being in nature, true crime documentaries and lots of coffee.
