Past Member Current Position: PhD student at the University of Edinburgh
My name is Geraint but everybody calls me Gerry. I am from Kent in the South-East of England and I came to the University of Dundee in 2010 to study Biological Chemistry and Drug Discovery BSc (Hons). I spent last year carrying out an industrial placement at Ferring Controlled Therapeutics in Glasgow working on developing a bioresorbable polyurethane polymer. I am currently carrying out my honours project in the Ciulli lab and hope to improve my biochemical practical experience and understanding through expressing proteins and measuring protein-protein interactions. Outside the lab I enjoy playing rugby, travelling and funny animal videos.
