Michael is from south western part of Germany. In 2013 he obtained his Ph.D. from the University of Kaiserslautern under the supervision of Prof. Stefan Kubik. His work focused on the development of Cyclodextrin based small molecule scavengers for neurotoxic organophosphonates. In October 2013 he joined the Ciulli group to improve his skills in medicinal chemistry and chemical biology. Currently he is working on small molecule probes for Bromodomains. Besides practicing sports like running, football and skiing he likes travelling to interesting places around the world.
