Jemima is from Wales and obtained her PhD in Chemical Biology in 2011 at Imperial College London, where she worked on a protein-protein interaction involved in Plasmodium, the malaria-causing parasite. She joined the Ciulli group in June 2011 for her first post-doc position to expand her knowledge of protein interfaces and biophysical techniques. She is working on the ternary complex ASB9-ElonginB-ElonginC which forms part of an E3 ubiquitin ligase. Outside the lab she enjoys travelling, drawing, aerobics and pubs.
