Daniela joined the Ciulli group in April 2019 as a visiting PhD student. Daniela graduated in Pharmaceutical Chemistry and Technology in 2016 at the University of Rome (Italy) after an experimental thesis on design and synthesis of new human sirtuin 4 (SIRT4) inhibitors. In the same year, under the supervision of Prof. Antonello Mai, she started a PhD program in Life Science at the University of Rome. Her PhD project is focused on the design, synthesis and biochemical evaluation of different PROTACs and multi-target compounds against epigenetic proteins. She joined the Ciulli group with the aim of deepen her knowledge in medicinal chemistry and in the PROTAC field, developing new PROTACs able to better clarify the role of epigenetic proteins.
In her spare time Daniela enjoys playing basketball, watching movies, listening music, travelling and spending time with friends.
