Claudia obtained her BS in Biotechnlogical Sciences at the University of Naples Federico II and her MS in Pharmaceutical Biotechnology at the University of Rome la Sapienza. She moved to Siena, where she had an internship in Lead Discovery Siena and started her PhD studies under the supervision of Prof. Maurizio Botta and Prof. Fabrizio Manetti. Her project is based on the discovery and on the design of new broad-spectrum antiviral compounds able to bind the human DDX3 protein. In her spare time, Claudia likes travelling, reading, playing the piano and going to the gym.
