She graduated in Pharmaceutical Chemistry and Technology at the University of Sassari, Italy, and obtained her PhD from the University of Cagliari, Italy, which included a nine-month research visit in the group of Professor Nicole Zitzmann in the Department of Biochemistry at the University of Oxford, UK.
Following postdoctoral positions at the Universities of Siena and Sassari, she joined the CeTPD as a Visiting Postdoctoral Fellow in November 2023 and was appointed Postdoctoral Scientist in February 2024.
Since June 2024, she has been part of the KOODAC Cancer Grand Challenge team, working on the development of innovative targeted protein degradation strategies against oncogenic drivers in paediatric cancers. In support of this research, she was awarded an individual fellowship from the Italian Association for Cancer Research (AIRC), enabling her to lead an independent research programme focused on novel therapeutic approaches for paediatric malignancies.
In her spare time, she enjoys trekking, climbing, and embroidery.
