What I am Reading Now… is a digital publication and learning platform that provides a critically engaged space for Black practitioners and practitioners of Colour to share ideas, research, and reflections.
Each month, artists, writers, thinkers, and creative practitioners are invited to reflect on the books, writings, films, and music that are shaping their practice, inspiring new ways of thinking, and informing their engagement with the world.
Initiated in 2020 in response to the ongoing Black Lives Matter movement and renewed calls for racial justice within the arts, the platform centres the experiences, knowledge, and creativity of Black practitioners and practitioners of Colour while fostering dialogue, visibility, and collective learning and imagining through art and culture.
