Ph.D. We are always available to help potential candidates develop their research ideas/proposals in order to secure a competitive funded position. There are a range of internal (e.g., School of Social Sciences funding positions) and external (e.g., Scottish Graduate School of Social Sciences studentships) funding opportunities you can apply for, which typically cover fees and provide a stipend.

Completing a Ph.D. with us can pave the way for research and academic positions across the globe; for example, Manabu Arai, Claire Delle Luche, Gunnar Jacob and Katja Suckow, all completed their Ph.D. under the supervision of Roger.

Taught Postgraduate Masters: Psychology at the University of Dundee offer a range of postgraduate M.Sc. programs, two of which allow for you to work on your dissertations with us: Psychology Research Methods and Language and Cognition. If you are interested in either of these courses, please contact us and we will be happy to discuss them with you further.

Research Assistant: If you are seeking hands on research experience, please get in touch. Although these positions are voluntary, they provide an excellent addition to your CV and we will, of course, provide you with a reference.
