Noisy Neighbour: If It’s Getting a Bit Much, Let Us Know

We get it — the Library isn’t always perfectly quiet.

Most of the time, everyone’s doing their best. But sometimes things drift a bit… conversations get louder, groups get carried away, and suddenly it’s harder to focus than it should be.

That’s where Noisy Neighbour comes in.

You’ll see QR codes on posters and desk signs across the Library. If something’s getting in the way of your studying, just scan and let us know.

The form is quick, and you can stay anonymous. Just tell us:

  • where you are
  • what’s going on

We’ll take it from there.

A quick reminder

Different spaces are set up for different types of study:

  • Silent study – no noise
  • Quiet study – low voices, briefly
  • Group study – keep it reasonable

No one’s expecting absolute silence everywhere — just a bit of awareness.

If something’s tipping over the line, give us a nudge. It helps us sort things before it becomes a bigger issue.
