St Andrews
St Andrews, our host city, is a picturesque coastal town in Scotland. It is a must-visit destination for history buffs, beach lovers, and golf enthusiasts. Known for its rich history, stunning scenery, and modern amenities. The town is home to the famous St Andrews Cathedral, dating back to the 12th century, the St Andrews Castle, dating back to the 16th century, as well as the oldest university in Scotland. Dundee
Dundee, the City of Discovery, is a modern and vibrant city set in a stunning location at the mouth of the River Tay, just across from St Andrews. Dundee is a feature location of the IWWWFB 2024 conference.
Dundee is a centre for Arts and Culture, offering of theatres, museums, galleries. It is home to the V&A Museum, the first ever dedicated design museum in Scotland and the only other V&A museum anywhere in the world outside London. The Royal Research Ship (RRS), Discovery is moored at Discovery Point in Dundee and open for visitor tours. Built in the city in 1900, RRS Discovery was the ship, which carried Captain Scott on his first expedition across the Antarctic.
