The 2019 Summer School was hosted by Harbin Engineering University of China and it was organised in collaboration with University of Dundee of the UK.
Three categories of topics were covered in the 2019 Summer School, including (i) one scientific topic, (ii) an industry-related subject, and (iii) topics on soft skills. The scientific topic of the 2019 Summer School was on Hydroelasticity of Floating and Fixed Bodies by use of the Potential Flow Theory coupled with the structural equations. The industry and general subjects included floating structures, time and stress management, negotiations, teamwork and professional ethics.
Instructors of 2019 Summer School were Professor H. Ronald Riggs of the University of Hawaii, USA, Professor Solomon Yim of Oregon State University, USA, Professor Soroush Aslani of the University of Wisconsin Whitewater, USA, and Dr. Tao Wang of Aker Solutions, USA.
