The libraries are finally starting to get a bit quieter again as we come to the end of the exam period and another academic year at the University of Dundee.
Over the last few weeks, every space has been busy with revision, deadlines, group work, coffee runs, and students trying to get through those final assignments and exams. From early mornings to late nights during 24/7 opening, it has definitely been one of the busiest times of the year across all of our libraries.
A huge well done to everyone who has made it through the semester.
Whether you spent most of your time in silent study, booked group study rooms with friends, lived off snacks and caffeine, or just needed somewhere away from home to focus, we hope the Library helped make things a little easier along the way.
For many students, this is just the start of a summer break before doing it all again in September. For others, it will be the end of their time at the University altogether.
If you are graduating this year, congratulations and good luck for whatever comes next. We hope you have enjoyed your time not only at the University, but also getting to know the city of Dundee during your studies.

The libraries will still be open over the summer, with access to study spaces, borrowing, support from staff, CreateSpace, wellbeing collections, and all the usual services.
And before we know it, we will be getting ready to welcome a whole new group of students through the doors again.
For now though, hopefully everyone gets the chance to slow down a bit, catch up on sleep, and enjoy having a break from deadlines for a while.
