Dundee UCU excluded from taskforce membership
Dundee UCU branch is extremely saddened by the decision taken by the Scottish Government not to invite a local UCU representative to formally contribute to the taskforce established with the remit to protect staff and students’ interests at the University of Dundee.
Dundee UCU is the largest union branch on campus, and it has been at the core of the fight against compulsory redundancies. Dundee UCU members have already taken industrial action and are prepared to take more in defence of our university. The decision to exclude our representatives from the taskforce is not acceptable.
