The SUPA Cormack Astronomy Meeting<\/strong> will take place at the Dalhousie Building<\/a>\u00a0 from the University of Dundee<\/strong> on December 4th, 2024<\/strong> (see information below regarding access and location). The meeting is organised by scientists at the Universities of Dundee, St Andrews, Edinburgh, Glasgow and Aberdeen, and supported by the RSE<\/a>. It is aimed at bringing together cosmologists, astrophysicists and solar physicists from all around Scotland, from early-career scientists and students, to more senior members. Registration<\/a> closes on November 20th.<\/p>

If you attended the meeting and want to provide some feedback, please use this form<\/a> before January 15th.<\/p>

Travel and directions<\/u><\/h3>
Maps of the campus and building location can be found here<\/a>.<\/div>
It is about 15 min walk from the Dundee Rail Station<\/a> and 20 min walk from Dundee Bus Station<\/a>. If coming by bus, you may want to check if your bus stops at Overgate or West Marketgait,<\/a> and then it will be 10 min or less to walk. There are multiple buses that will bring you from the train station to West Marketgait (99, 22, 39, 42, 5, 17, to name a few) or from the bus station to Airlie Place<\/a> (and then it is 6 min walk).<\/div>
Parking on campus is very limited and it tends to be quite full from 9:30am on. If you need to come by car, please contact the organiser ASAP so she can provide you with the details (although there is no guarantee that you’ll find parking on campus, especially if you do not arrive very early).<\/div>
