When the nerve of the tooth gets inflamed (e.g. dental cavity\/trauma\/previous deep filling), it causes the pain and symptoms you may be experiencing. You can take nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (like ibuprofen) if it&#8217;s safe for you, or paracetamol as an alternative.
