I undertook my school education from Nepal. I obtained a Masters degree in Biochemistry from the University of Bath in 1999. I was awarded a Ph.D. in Biochemistry from the University of Dundee in 2003. Then I joined Joan Massagu\u00e9\u2019s laboratory at Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center in New York to undertake postdoctoral research to study the TGF\u03b2 pathway regulation, for which I received the prestigious Damon Runyon Cancer Research Fellowship.<\/p>\n

I started my independent research group at the MRC PPU in Dundee since November 2008.<\/p>\n
