Technical details: Recorded in the video studio at the RCA, Instruction Limitation was made as an analysis of the material properties of a video recording deck and monitor. Using a series of recorded spoken instructions, the results of carrying out those instructions are applied to the original recorded tape and displayed within the same video monitor and sound set up as the original.
