This will&nbsp;ensure we remain at&nbsp;the forefront of&nbsp;new&nbsp;developments in cancer treatments and bring them quickly into the clinic&nbsp;and benefit&nbsp;local patients.&nbsp;In 2021 we launched the \u2018The <strong>Lady Fraser Fellowships<\/strong>\u2019&nbsp;a doctoral training programme that saw us bring together clinicians and scientific researchers as we develop our work in precision medicine and translational research.&nbsp;Read about their work <a href=\"https:\/\/sites.dundee.ac.uk\/ncc\/the-difference-you-make\/researchers\/\">here<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Pioneering research is at the heart of Ninewells Cancer&nbsp;Campaign, it is&nbsp;vital for the development of new treatments, drug discovery and ultimately saving lives.&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The development of precision medicine and translational research will allow us to take findings from the laboratory and apply them in clinical practice.
