With the help of friends and family Beth set up a pop-up shop and held a ladies day at her house with raffles and prizes donated from many local businesses. Beth said <strong>\u201cI thoroughly enjoyed fundraising for NCC, my friends, family and people within the local community were so generous. It was truly a humbling&nbsp; and rewarding experience.\u201d<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">By the time she set off on her trek Beth had raised an incredible \u00a33000!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Not long after her adventure to Brazil Beth celebrated her 50<sup>th<\/sup> Birthday and in lieu of gifts asked her friends and family to donate to NCC, a gesture that her mum went on to repeat when she celebrated her 80<sup>th<\/sup> birthday a few years later.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">After seeing the positive impact that NCC has on the local community Beth decided to continue supporting our work by setting up a direct debit, donating monthly to NCC. To date Beth has raised in excess of \u00a37,000 for NCC through her charity trek, birthday celebrations and monthly gifts.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>\u201cI give to NCC because all the money raised stays locally and supports cancer research in Dundee.
