Pamela’s Story

Pamela and her best pals Elaine, Von and Claire had planned a weekend away to climb Ben Nevis as it was on Pamela’s bucket list to do before turning 40. Due to the very sad loss of Pamela’s mum, Ruth, to lung cancer in March 2025, they decided to make the ascent for a worthy cause and raise money for the Ninewells Cancer Campaign. Pamela explains “It has affected not only me but so many of my friends and family members”. In a short time both she and her Benny’s Belter team had raised over £1400 and they successfully completed the ascent in May of this year. She’s looking forward to more challenges in the future!
