We\u2019re pleased to introduce a brand-new tablet loan scheme<\/strong> in the Main Library, designed to give staff and students quick, easy access to digital tools while you study or work in the building. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Meet the Hublets<\/strong> <\/p>\n\n\n\n

We now have six tablets available to borrow<\/strong> using our Hublet system. Borrowing one is simple \u2013 just scan the barcode on your University of Dundee ID card<\/strong>, and you\u2019re good to go. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The tablets are designed for use within the library<\/strong> and come preloaded with links to some of the most popular apps and websites used by students and staff. They also include access to two internet browsers<\/strong>, making them ideal for quick research, online reading, or catching up on coursework. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

How long can I use one?<\/strong> <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Each tablet can be borrowed for up to two hours<\/strong>. A countdown timer is displayed on the screen, so you\u2019ll always know how much time you have left. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Returning your tablet<\/strong> <\/p>\n\n\n\n

When you\u2019re finished, simply place the tablet back into any free slot in the docking station<\/strong>. The system will automatically return the device and clear any data<\/strong>, so your information stays private. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Where to find them<\/strong> <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Hublets are located on the ground floor of the Main Library<\/strong>, next to the Search and Issue bar<\/strong>, making them easy to spot and even easier to use. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
