SCONUL Access Can Help!"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>If you\u2019re heading home for the holidays, travelling during the semester, or simply spending time away from UoD but still need a quiet place to study, the <strong>SCONUL Access Scheme<\/strong> is here to make your life a lot easier.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>SCONUL Access lets you use study spaces, books, and journals at hundreds of university libraries across the UK and Ireland. Depending on your student status, you might even be able to <strong>borrow print books<\/strong> from other universities\u2014super handy if you\u2019re revising or working on an assignment while you&#8217;re away.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\" \/>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">So, how does it work?<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>1. Check if you&#8217;re eligible<\/strong><br>Students on most undergraduate and postgraduate taught courses can join the scheme, but eligibility varies slightly\u2014so make sure you look at the details on the <a href=\"https:\/\/access.sconul.ac.uk\/\">SCONUL Access website.<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>2. Apply online<\/strong><br>Just click the <strong>\u2018Apply\u2019<\/strong> button on the SCONUL website and fill in the form. It only takes a few minutes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>3. Wait for approval<\/strong><br>Your application is processed by the UoD<em> library<\/em>\u2014not SCONUL directly. Processing times can vary, so if you\u2019re unsure or need an update, contact us for help.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>4. Look out for your approval email<\/strong><br>Once your application is accepted, you\u2019ll get an email with all the info you need to start using other SCONUL libraries.
