Box of broadcasts (BoB)<\/a> allows you to set up playlists – which can be public or private. Public playlists can be found by searching BoB,\u00a0 there’s also\u00a0 a selection of\u00a0 playlists created by academics on various topics, accompanied by a description or short video overview of the content on the\u00a0 ‘BoB curated playlists<\/a>‘ page on the Learning on Screen site.<\/p>\n

‘Africa – South of the Sahara<\/a>‘, created at University of Cambridge covers ” key aspects of African history, politics, and society. … organised geographically by country and highlights both early materials from the BBC archive and current broadcasts from channels and stations available through BoB (Box of Broadcasts)”<\/p>\n

Race and ethnicity on British television, 1970-1995<\/a>\u00a0 – by\u00a0 Dr Gil Toffell, Learning on Screen,\u00a0 looks at programmes “that provided some space for minority ethnic voices and experience in Britain”.<\/p>\n

Law Race & Decolonisation<\/a> , by Dr Foluke Adebisi, University of Bristol, looks at “the nexus between law, race and the differing schools of what is often called \u2018decolonisation”.<\/p>\n

There are curated lists for film, literature, politics, media, business, gender, and other topics,\u00a0 all illustrating different ways media can support teaching and research.<\/p>\n
