We are currently holding our first series of Academic Talks called ‘Experience of COVID-19 in LATAM‘.

Our aim is to provide insight into the challenges and issues COVID-19 has brought onto Latin American countries and to begin a conversation about possible solutions to these.

Each month we will have an academic guest speaker from a Latin American country presenting their work and expertise on their subject field.

Below are the countries we have hosted so far:

• Mexico: Impact of COVID-19
• Chile: Indigenous Peoples and the pandemic
• Bolivia: Children and access to education
• Chile, Ecuador, Brazil, Uruguay, Colombia: Impact of COVID-19 on migrant and refugee populations
