Great work by PhD candidate Ieva Budriunaite. Ieva was selected to give a plenary talk and present her poster at the recent AACR conference “DNA methylation, Clonal Hematopoiesis, and Cancer” in San Diego, US. Here, she discussed her work on the effects of common chemotherapeutic drugs in expansion of clonal hematopoiesis driver mutations, and how this may increase the risk of therapy-related hematological malignancies.
