This week\u2019s Saturday series will explore the importance of addressing inequalities in healthcare. Professor Ruthe Freeman, Co-Director of the Dental Services Research Unit will lead a panel discussion in considering how dentistry can act as a driver for social injustice and inclusion. She will be joined by Niall McGoldrick, Dr Andrea Rodriguez, Dr Matthew Maycock and Derek Holiday.<\/p>\n

The speakers will draw on their experiences in both practice and research and will consider how improvements in oral health can impact the general health of individuals. They will also discuss the importance of working in partnership with more vulnerable communities to address inequalities as well as look at how we can push for policy changes aimed at reducing poverty.<\/p>\n
