With the glasshouse now sadly closed due to the ongoing pandemic, the Botanic Gardens are not letting this opportunity go to waste and have a been working behind the scenes. The garden staff are taking this time to recreate the marvellous epiphyte tree, made entirely onsite so they can continue to grow stunning Bromeliads and orchids.<\/p>\n

Not only are the garden staff keeping busy but so are the garden volunteers who are not able to visit the gardens at this time. Frances who tends to the cacti is keeping busy and raising funds for Alzheimer\u2019s Research UK by walking 5k every day this month.<\/p>\n
