The Cox family enjoying the beach at<\/span><span data-contrast=\"none\">\u202f<\/span><span data-contrast=\"none\">Lossiemouth<\/span><span data-contrast=\"none\">\u00a0is a perfect portal into<\/span><span data-contrast=\"none\">\u202f<\/span><span data-contrast=\"none\">the realms of the unseen, ancestors, memory and time\/space\/matter.\u202fRemoving myself from the usual photographic methods, I \u2018burn\u2019 instead of \u2018print\u2019, creating through the process of destruction and giving another form to the things that once were. I explore immateriality through materiality, the thin places that lead to a greater mystery.&#8221;<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-ccp-props=\"{&quot;201341983&quot;:2,&quot;335559739&quot;:0,&quot;335559740&quot;:253}\">\u00a0<\/span><span data-contrast=\"none\">Patricia\u00a0<\/span><span data-contrast=\"none\">Ramaer<\/span><span data-contrast=\"none\">\u00a0is a contemporary artist. Artists, designers and creative writers were invited to respond to the University\u2019s rich archive, museum and rare book collections on the themes of rivers, seas, coasts and mountains.
