It’s the Flashback Friday Film Festival again and we have a Fry feast! This offering from the University Archives is bound to cheer you up. It’s an extract from Stephen Fry’s memorable Rectorial Address at the beginning of his first term as Rector in 1992. Titled ‘Think of a Lobster’ his speech was an entertaining, hilarious and thoughtful call for students to embrace the University experience and avoid the mundane. Stephen Fry held the post of Rector until 1998 and retains fond memories of Dundee as this interview shows.
